1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces?
I chose those pieces because they are done in different styles.
2. Why did you select the media to create your self-portrait?
I chose pen and paper because it's easy to work with.
3. What challenges did you face in creating your self-portrait and how did you overcome them?
One of the main challenges was getting the proportions right. I tried to overcome this issue by analyzing closely the form of my face and the shape, position and distance of each feature, and a lot of redrawing.
4. How does this piece represent you?
It represents my resting face.
5. What elements and principles of art did you apply in this work?
I tried to use shading to represent shadow, and line.
6. Did you enjoy working on this project?
I think it was pretty interesting since it's the first time I tried to draw myself.
7. What do you think of your final artwork?
I think its OK for what it is since I'm not good at drawing. It has some resemblance to me.
